I really need to read some Agatha Christie.

She has written some atrocious ones (imo) but this one was rather good.

It is easy to see how this one is a favourite. :)

I did, too. I loved that I suspected everyone. It was a curious sensation.

That probably is the biggest compliment you could ever give a mystery novel. :)

My favourite is Three Act Tragedy but this one and Endless Night are awesome, too. My liking for Three Act Tragedy has much to do with the time and circumstances of reading it. I can't make an objective choice when it comes to books.

There was an excellent radio play of this on Radio Four- if it ever crops up on the iplayer again I'll try and remember to give you a link.

Please do. I only half remember the film but don't think I've heard the radio production.

I really liked this book by Agatha Christie. That brings to my mind, that I did buy a copy of Murder on the Orient Express when I visited Greenway, Agatha Christies Summer home, last summer. I should read this rather sooner than later. Nothing helps me getting out of a reading slump than a good old classic.

Once you do read it, please let me know which film comes closest to portraying the characters. :)

That is quite a task you are giving me ;). I haven´t seen one single movie adaption of this book, so I don´t even know what the story is about. Im guessing it´s about a murder and that there are a lot of suspects. But other than that I do not have a clue. But once I have read the book, I will watch some of the movies and then I will let you know.
