Um, no particular thoughts. Was thinking maybe towards October-ish?

Fantastic! I will set reminders in the coming weeks so we can see how best to approach this. :)

Absent in the Spring doesn't appeal - sorry - but I loved her autobiography.
BrokenTune 6 years ago
Her autobiography was brilliant! It helped getting to know her much, much better.

I might be interested depending on my schedule.

I'd also tentatively be in. It does sound interesting.

@ Spare Ammo & @ Witty Little Knitter: Great! I'll set up reminder posts and a discussion group over the next month.

Maybe . . . looks intriguing.
It's one I haven't read yet, so it sounds interesting, I'm just having a hard time locating a copy...any suggestions?
BrokenTune 6 years ago
Erm, let me have a look. I got a kindle version off Ammy but I'm not sure what the availability in the US is. I'll investigate.
Thank you :)

Yeah, I checked OpenLibrary but the ebook editions are checked out.
Ammy has both new and second-hand copies -

Alibris also seems to have various editions -
Thanks so much for the links. I will be purchasing a copy soon :)

Yes, still interested if I can find the damn book.
I bought the wrong effing one! Ugh! Dang! And I have never read anything by her. They had this one too, but I grabbed a different one with a cover that reminded me of this.
BrokenTune 6 years ago
Huh? Which one did you buy?
The only place I can find it now is pirating it off the dang internet (my neighbor's idea, the one who doesn't know it's illegal). I even called local bookstores.
BrokenTune 6 years ago
I still don't have the heart to tell her it's

I just hope she doesn't drop off a computer printed copy. And yes, she did find it. I didn't actually think she would.

Well, I have to say, tho, your neighbours crack me up. They all sound rather unique.
They are. Very unique. I live in a very diverse community. It is funny.

You got it on Ebay? Brilliant!
I saw it there too. I am now sorting through more of grans books, she had it in audiobook on cd, normally she had it in paperback so she could read along.
ITunes has it! But all I have is ipod touch!
There is an apartment complex behind me to the left, so lots of neighbors. Then we have the halfway house about 10 doors down to the left across the street!

It sounds pretty lively. I love it when you fill us in on updates.
I found it in a ebook collection of 100 some agatha books. I don't need them all though.
I got the large print edition at the library at work. I didn't even know we had it.

That's a shame but I understand that you need some "you-time".

Think I'll join you for this.

Cool. :)
