There are a couple of good ones about The Orange One, too. And Theresa doesn't come off well either. No painting pictures, she just using quotes. I really enjoyed this.
The sad part being, I guess, that quotes is all it takes with some of these people ...

Am hoping to type up a review tonight.

I'm biased, tho.

:D. Is there a good place to start?

The short stories: The First Person is a collection that got me hooked.
Novels - hm, ... I would say, start with Hotel World.

Apart from Autmn and her latest (Winter), both of which I loved because they are about the Now, I also love Artful, which is a story but also a literature review - it is a bit odd but beautiful.

I thoroughly enjoyed "Like", "How to be Both", and "There but for the", but I wouldn't suggest to start with them.

I've not read The Accidental, yet. (I'm saving that for a bad week.)

Thanks, BT: I think I will start with her short stories. I already ordered a copy at my library :)

Ooh, nice. Which one?

The one you recommended, The First Person and other stories.

Exciting! I hope you'll love them. Some are better than others, of course, but they all show her skill with words.

I hope I will get the book soon :). I don´t have any strict reading plans this year, which is very nice for a change. So I can pick up whatever I want.

Great feeling, isn't it?
The only trouble is, it took me a while to figure which books I want to read first. :)

I have a lot of books on my shelves that I want to read. Especially longer ones. I have to say, setting up a shedule for larger books (like Lonesome Dove) isn´t too bad a thing, because I can read other books for the rest of the week. I might do that for the other long books on my TBR as well.

Oh, I do have one reading plan: I want to put a huge dent into my Agatha Christie collection. But I don´t see this as a challenge :D.

I like the Christies for in between books. :)

Yes, exactly. They are perfect for that purpose :)
