it escalated quickly from there. I'm sure there were broken jaws, blood, and more from the next line onwards. And, yeah, wasn't Hugh playing in a band in the same area at the time? I'm sure that's what he said in one of the interviews.
Something of the sort -- and of course Wardour Street of all places would be a logical pick then! (Though film would be another connection, I suppose.)

Oh, the setting in this hits all the Soho hot spots - name dropping bands and all - then moves to Istanbul (where I couldn't help make comparisons to From Russia With Love) and then ends up on a Greek Island.
Istanbul and Lisbon -- the two most over-used settings for "international intrigue" stories of all sorts ...
