LoL. I have low expectations: it's Wallace AND it reminds me of The Big Four. It does not weigh in the book's favour ... BUT I have a feeling (following on from our discussion the other day) that a Wallace version of The Big Four would be more entertaining to me than Dame Agatha's offering.

And while I really cannot recommend The Big Four to anyone, it might amuse you for sheer comparison to other very silly spy plots.
If there was any inspiration, it was only re: the magic number four as such ... here, "The Four" are the (presumed) good guys, whereas in Dame Agatha's book they're -- very much not.
