Such a shame that this book isn´t working for you, especially since you need a good read at the moment.
I´ve always been on the fence whether or not to pick up a Christie/Westmacott novel. And now, I think I will give it a pass.

I actually enjoyed Absent in the Spring. This is only my second Westmacott, and I will read them all because ... um ... Agatha and I am somewhat of a completist when it comes to some authors.

You liked one of these books? Oh no, now I´m on the fence again ;). At some point I will eventually read one of her books. I´m not a completist at hear, but I´m intrigued enough to give a Westmacott novel a try.

This is the only Westmacott I've read and it is a really weird book. Ididn't like it at all. The characters were just odd.

These people are so weird, aren't they? And, geez, the dialogue is just so ... pathetic. I'll get back to this one tonight, once the last window is installed.

It sort of feels like she was just revenging herself on Archie for being such a miserable shit, 30 years later.

LoL. That actually made me laugh. I should bear this thought in mind when I get back to the book. :D

^Ok, I've finished your windows - back to reading! Although maybe something else.

LoL. I'm thinking of starting A Room of One's Own. ;)
...With New Windows?

I think this is the correct, but unofficial, title.
