Natalie Haynes has written quite a few greek myth retellings that I´m interested in (I´m still on the search for a greek myth retelling that actually works for me).
I hope that it stays an engaging read :)

I believe I downloaded a couple of the other ones last August, too. If her writing in the others is like this one, the other books will be a treat. I really hope the conclusion of this one lives up to what the book has brought so far.

This does sound promising. And keeping my fingers crossed that you will end up liking this book.

Oh, and much of the story is set very close to that secondhand bookshop. :D

It´s so much fun to read about places that you are familiar with, isn´t it? ;D

It is. It really is. Early on in the story Alex goes to the Blackwells' on the same road to buy some of the books she considers for the class.

*Sigh* I wish I could visit that road on a regular basis. And of course Blackwells ;)
