I've never read any Grahame Greene. And I think that's rather remiss of me.

Well, I only picked up my first Greene last year. I can totally understand that he's not at the top of people's reading list, but what can I say, I'm hooked...

Have you read Love Charm of Bombs? I can't remember if I've seen you review it. It's not by Greene but about him and four other authors--Elizabeth Bowen, Rose Macaulay, Henry Green, and Hilde Spiel--who lived and loved through the Blitz of London. It's wonderful.

No, I haven't read Love Charm of Bombs, but thanks I'll keep an eye out for. You're always pointing to me to excellent books...

That's mutual, and my TBR grows by leaps and bounds.

Oh, that sounds wonderful; I'm adding it to my TBR as well. Thanks!

I love reading projects like this: definitive yet casual. Enjoy!

Thanks! Have you got any similar projects going on?

I keep lists of what I call my MustReadEverything authors, but I have gathered quite a few over the past 20 years, so I make very slow headway on all of them together, with the exception of Alice Munro, whose stories I've been reading chronologically since 2010.

This year I've been trying to fill the gaps in my Alice Walker reading. But mostly it's more dreaming about reading those MRE lists than actually reading. In contrast, you are making terrific progress with your list: congrats!

Ha! But I only have one MRE author...so far. And I'm addicted to Greene. :)
