blllppp blehjp sdfhcsw blljhtey ... the wait has me incoherent. Plus I knew this going into the series and futilely promised myself I would not binge read, would space them out *snort*
I binged on the first three and finished them just before the fourth one came out, so that was quite nicely timed. I did the same with the Kate Daniels books, but at least the wait is nearly over for that one (well, apart from the fact I'm 23rd in line at the library).

I have the first book of this series on my Halloween Bingo list and it is the one book, that I´m most hesitant about (it´s not a genre that I normally read). Your enthusiam makes me hopeful that I´m going to like this series.
I hope you enjoy it. It does poke a little bit of fun at the vampire and werewolf tropes in literature, which is very entertaining.

It's a hard series to explain. The main character just grabs you (if a fan of series) and the rest is hard for me to analyze to write a decent review.

There were so many raves, quotes and reviews when first book was published that confused me what series was about; took me a while to start the series and now I've drank the koolaid and am diehard fan. And I still can't really explain it beyond I like Meg and want more of her story (and the story of fellow rescued sanguinistas Jean and Hope).

I eventually glanced at first few paragraphs of sample and got immediately hooked. Not everything perfect, unirritating about it or even the best worldbuilding, but you want to know what happens next.

I have to admit, that does sound intriguing. Four more days to go until we can start with our bingo reads *sigh*
March ?! :(.................
