This book was so surprisingly AWESOME! I read it reluctantly as I wanted to know what others were reading but was certain it would only be OK and seriously over rated. I was happily wrong, wrong, wrong. :-) I agree with you that the age issue was done extremely well, and the author did a fantastic job making it all believable. Glad you liked it too.
In real life, or even in most stories, I think I too would be thrown by the age difference. But the setting, pacing and the likeliness of them being alone forever that made it work.
Not yet. It came out a long time after I read the book. I think if it had already been out, then I would've definitely read it as soon as I finished On the Island.
This one was absolutely amazing. one of my absolute favorites as well! I loved everything about this book but especially how their relationship built over the time they were together including when they returned which is something that I wasn't sure we'll see when I was reading. Then I felt it was so REAL what they were dealing with. It's the perfect romance. really.
I also read "Covet" by her and though I was afraid I'll hate it because I'm a "no cheating no matter what" person I really loved it as well but I loved On the Island more :P she has another book planned I really can't wait to read and oh, there's a squeal a short novella abut the guy that built the cabin, that I liked less. Don't know why.
Anyhow Tracey is one HELL of a writer! one of those I know I'll read anything she'll publish.
