I've put off reading it for the same exact reason. : ) Ive heard a lot of people say its good though so I really should give it a try too.

You really should. I was surprised how much I liked it.

I put it on a suspended hold at my library today so as soon as I wrap some of my arc's I'm going to check it out. : )
