Oh, such beauty!!! I hope you enjoy all of them. Do you know yet which one you'll start with?

Either the novella or the anthology (A Phoenix First Must Burn), probably. Maybe some short fiction can help pull me out of this persistent reading slump.

Ugh. Slumps. :( A Phoenix First Must Burn does sound fab, tho. Well, so do the others, but the phoenix book is on my radar, too.

Very nice! Some very interesting titles there.

I just did a compulsive and very expensive shopping spree today on an online "bookshop". 3 orders. I kept coming across other books I wanted. o_O. Might have to hang out at the folks for dinner for the next 2 months.... My excuse is that there might be another hard lockdown (government keeps threatening) and that the economy is going to shit faster than usual so I won't be able to afford any more books soon. :(

I may do another Oops! post. I picked up a freelance job that paid for my book spree and then some, so of course I ordered more books. I'm not even trying to justify it this time. It's straight-up shopping therapy to treat my "the economy is going to shit" anxiety. We're showing signs of a second wave of infections here, so another lockdown is probably imminent. :(

Here's to book splurges! I just hope my latest order doesn't take 4 months to get here like the March order I placed (it came last week).

I ordered mine from places that do free shipping, so I'm actually pleasantly surprised they've arrived so quickly.
What a simply awesome stack. Here's to shopping therapy!

@DP, I just wanted to let you know that I have had several peeks at your post today, and every time I did, the picture of your towering haul made me smile.
