Ohhh you read it~~ Is this the series with the really pretty covers?
I think they're pretty, yeah. :) "The series with the really pretty covers" is kind of vague, though. :p

Hmmm.. I remember.. something something fairytale. Something. On Goodreads... "Oh, prettyyyyy~" And that's about as good as my memory is these days. :P
Well, going through my Goodreads "to-read" list, apparently that was pretty much qualifications for sticking it on my reading list. Because wow, I clearly did not read either synopsis or reviews on a lot of stuff over there, haha. It could have been this, yeah, though it could have been maybe Splintered?

Yes Beauty and the Beast lovers unite. Even when I try to convince myself it wasn't that great and to move on already I end up telling myself to shut up cuz it's the best. So much nostalgia, I loved Belle as a kid. Heck, I turn 21 in a few days and I still do!

Oh and as for the book you have piqued my interest. I love backstories of things I already love. Honestly I love them even when they do take liberties and such. For example Tinkerbell was always my favorite character as a kid (though Peter Pan wasn't anwhere near my favorite movie) and recently I watched the Tinkerbell Pirate Fairy movie (don't you dare judge me), I LOVED IT.
It's not just nostalgia--it's a completely awesome movie, haha. ;) I see no particular reason to stop liking something because of your age. Belle has to have been created to make the bookish little girl in all of us love her!

(Not a Tink fan, but no judgment on that count. Trust me, I've liked worse, I'm quite sure, lol.)
