Hi LM! Thanks for reading. No, I've been reading the English translations. I don't really speak a second language well enough to read the originals, unfortunately, because you're right. It tends to lose something in the translation. But still, these books are great in English - makes me wonder what the original is like. Wish I could read them in the original language.
Thank you Ink Drinker! It's a really good read. It wasn't as good as I thought it might be but it's one I would recommend, mainly for its inventiveness. Sarrazin was always compared to Jean Genet and there are some similarities. If you are familiar with Genet's "The Thief's Journal", you may like this one. Thanks for reading & for following.
