Nice review. I really like this series. I'm up to the 9th book, and I'm trying to pace myself so I can savor it as long as possible. Sebastian's family relationships and history are an integral part of the overall story arch, and they're one of the reason I keep coming back for more; lots of revelations and twists. I have a few minor quibbles, but it's a great historical series.
