I've just finished watching the show. Didn't know anything about it other than it was based on a graphic novel. But I have to say it sucked me in and I really enjoyed it. Apparently there's going to be a second series.
So I'm not fond of the whole yiddish at the end, and someone pointed out that there's a lack of real character development and that girls pretty much get the short end of the stick in this. Despite that all, I had a lot of fun. I should point out that the yiddish will mean Jewish power to many people and there's enough dangerous rhetoric about how Jews control the world going on right now; do not need more of that, thank you.
Although I just saw Titans episode 4 that introduces Doom Patrol. Um, yes, thank you to Robotman. Negative Man and their take on Beast Boy was much more exciting to me, I think, since I do like the Doom Patrol comics more. But on the whole Titans is meh. I'm hoping the Doom Patrol show lives up to the hype I've seen in that one tweet, but who knows.
