OH, no! So sorry about the frustrating and expensive end to your trip. Glad you liked the New York part, and glad you're back home safely. Traveling almost never goes 100% smooth.

Thanks, RedTHaws. I did manage to get compensation from the credit card company, the mobile/cell company and the airline.
