Quite. Very insightful of you. In another words, translating Shakespeare is a pain in the ass, if you forgive me the vernacular...Shakespeare's "funny" language (in English) has everything I could ever wish for. It's that "quirk" that makes his texts what they are. I like to attempt translations in order to better understand the original, be it Shakespeare or Celan.
Reading Shakespeare in another language is "something entirely different" as the Monty Python would say ...
