I really like that one, but you probably ought to know that there is some (by which I meant great and occasionally insane) debate on whether The Magician's Nephew or The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe is the "first" book in the series. So if it comes up, you are now forewarned. ;)

I honestly think starting with either is perfectly fine, and I'm so glad to see you're getting to read them! I have the same problem with "big" books--it's one of the reasons I switched so heavily to my Kindle. :x

Have you seen all of the movies that came out, or just the first one? What did you think of it?
I know about the debate, I think it's mostly due to the fact that the original publication order was different than the chronological order of events. To me The Magician's Nephew coming first makes sense, but whatever works for other people I'm fine with it. Thanks for the warning, though. ;)

Yes, I've seen all the movies (although I didn't get to finish the third one, but I intend to rewatch it some day. I liked all of them, but I think The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is my favourite. Although Prince Caspian was partly filmed in my country, in a place that is particularly special to me, so that weighs in into my feelings about it, too. ;)
This is m favorite out of all of them.
