Ooooh! Interested in you getting into this. And don't be ashamed: there are so, so many comic snobs out there. I just laugh it off, because I know what they're missing out on, and it's healthier than letting anything fester.

I got all defensive at first, but what can you do?

And I've read both these storylines. Vision is more subtly disturbing, but dark, and in my opinion the superior of the two - by far. Can't wait to see what you think of Vision. I only started picking up this Batman due to King's writing on Vision which was superb.

ETA: I think your opinion means just as much as anyone else's. You may not have the knowledge of comic book specifics due to not having read them, but you know what you like and you know the basics: storylines, plotholes, etc. That is, it's still a story just in a different medium, and you read enough to know those basics.

Thanks, Grim! I just now finished this and enjoyed it very much.
On to Vision!
Yay! Vision!
I'm not so much an expert as someone who gets obsessed with authors and characters and thus reads it all - so I become an expert. That is, not anymore than anyone else who reads them.

I need to get my hands on that Omega Men...

Haha, right? Surprise!

I've finished it now and liked it quite a bit. Now to see what Vision is all about!
I can't repeat enough: yay! Vision! He became a favorite author with this series, and he tackled my favorite character with that series.

I hope you enjoy it!

I may need to ask you some questions. So I guess Ultron made Vision? I am not familiar at all with Ultron or all those Transformers. Will that impact my understanding of this story?
I don't think so: it's mostly about Vision and his new family - and no one really knew what was up with that until it was revealed in story. Everyone else makes appearances, but they aren't the crux of the story in my opinion.

It's also hard to say: I'm so familiar, it's hard to know what will seem confusing or important to someone who doesn't know.

As for questions, yes, please! I enjoy talking all things Vision, so I'm more than happy to answer any questions. Ask them here, or in your posts - or in my comments on any of my posts. (I occasionally miss things. PM me if you want to make sure I get things. I have my phone on me more often than anything and sometimes just text so if you wanna do that...)

Who created the Vision? Yeah, pretty much Ultron. How is more complicated: the movie version is different from all the comic versions, and it's been retconned. Sometimes he kidnapped a scientist to create V out of the original Human Torch - who was an android - and sometimes he just builds him. I don't think there's any continuity where Ultron doesn't have a hand in building V, though. He's always been meant to be an Avengers foe, who ends up sympathizing with them and turning into one of their greatest allies.

*yay Vision talk yay*

I'm sitting here grinning. I love this kinda talk :D

Okay, then! As long as I know you enjoy talking about all things V this much, I won't be afraid to ask you any questions I might have. Your excitement is making me excited. :)
I will talk about them in great length. Just tell me if I talk about it too much when you ask!

I'm so excited. I almost wanna reread this, but I just bought a whole bunch of Suicide Squad stuff I want to read first :D
