Sometimes you pick up a book and just can't connect with it or even feel it. i've done this so many time's! You did a good review on it though. :0)

Thanks. I'm still bummed about because I wanted so much to like it.
I have this - and I'm not sure if I'm going to give it a go or not.
2 things... since I don't know how to just post a picture in the comments, here is a link to a blog post about a 2017 New Year's Resolution I made - and it more than applies here :)

second... do you watch/like Supernatural?
There is going to be A SUPERNATURAL/SCOOBY-DOO CROSSOVER EPISODE!

I did hear about the Scooby Doo/Supernatural crossover and I am SO IN for that! I pretty much love all things Scooby Doo, which is another reason I'm so disappointed with this book.

The first link you posted brought me to a post about Duncan Ralston and Easter?

I'm not a big fan of made up words. I read a so-called futuristic novel one time where the author thought coff-tea was charming. I did not.

Ha! I hear you! I guess when someone like Dr. Seuss does it, it's one thing. When they keep appearing and breaking up the flow, it's another.
