Oh wow! So beautiful. Is it the first time this has happened?

Oh, Char, the first pic doesn't seem to be working. It appears blank.

ETA: Okay, it's working now. :)

Oh good!!
This is not the first time. Though the last time was probably 5 or 6 years ago. It was winter time and there were two of them. They came and sat down by our stream for a little while, then they tackled each other and played for about 2-3 minutes and then they took off. At this point, my husband and I were wondering if we had imagined the whole thing, because we haven't seen any since.
Oh wow, that's amazing!

Certainly looks bobcatish to me.
I don't blame the birds.
Are you rural? Or urban?

LOL Sort of both. We live on a dirt road at the bottom of a mountain. However, we are only about 5 minutes away from our local Walmart. It's kind of the best of both worlds. :)
It really does sound like the best of both worlds. :)

I believe this little fella is a lynx. Not entirely sure can't see his ears to well.
Dinner is served!
It's a lynx. Bobcats actually have longer tails, larger ears, and no tufts. He will avoid a tussle with a house cat or dog unless cornered since to be injured is almost certainly a death sentence. They adore squirrels and rabbits and birds being baited to a feeder by human beings.
