I saw this in the bookstore this past weekend and desperately wanted to buy it for a niece but MT thought that would probably not endear me to my in-laws. He also nixed the bathtub crayons. Sigh...

You're the fun aunt, aren't you? My fun aunt gave me a crawling baby that cried every few inches; my parents never forgave her but I've always remembered that. Though, isn't this book really more for the parents?

And I loved bathtub crayons! More work for the person cleaning up sadly, but I looked forward to them at my grandmother's house for years!

Yeah, the brother whose child I wanted to buy them for is not known for being laid-back and easy-going. The aftermath of the crayons would have driven him insane - which is sort of why I wanted to buy them. :D

LOL! A good X-mas present and pranking your brother-in-law a bit. A wonderful combination. What did you end up getting?

We got her a game for xmas (an educational one) and her birthday is the very next day, so I got her "The Day the Crayons Quit" and a box of birthday candles that burn in different colours (the flames). Seems I was not going to be diverted from my crayon/wax theme, lol...
