Vile thoughts from MCs may be appropriate if the MC is vile or even just vulgar. The question is what else is there in the book that makes it worthwhile.

At this point there not much, except of course the authors fantastic style. I looked up the author and while he's right-wing, he isn't sexist in any regard. Thank you for helping me make up my mind. I think I'll carry on with it. Thanks again.
