It's hard to choose a winner, since there is none here, but I think I'm leaning towards Jeaniene Frost's side. Profit from a company shouldn't be used towards personal expenses. I feel terrible for the cancer diagnosis, but she had responsibilities to her authors before that.

True, but Jeaniene Frost and Shiloh Walker didn't show much class ganging up on Nazarian. Some of their comments were especially reprehensible, such as suggesting VN's father's death, her mother and VN's illnesses, and VN losing her job were "karma".

WHAAAAT? Dude, I so did not see that part. That's terrible, no class at all.
Where was the suggestion about VN's father's death?? I read through the whole twitter conversation and didn't find that at all. In fact, I found JF standing up for authors that haven't gotten paid for THREE years from their books because VN needed the money more.

It was in the link VN provided to Shiloh Walker, and SW said all that was karma. Again I am not taking sides, but I think there are certain lines you don't cross, especially since JF and SW were laughing about the whole thing in each other's twitters... It just... wasn't classy.
Ahh. Okay, I found the karma stuff in SW's twitter. I wasn't reading that before - just JF (through the link above). I'm sorry, I don't feel like hard times excuses stealing other people's money. Many people are going through hard times and muddling through, figuring it out. It's not easy, it's not pretty...

Not arguing that at all, just the fact that none of the affected writers joined the convo and that JF and SW were less than graceful about the whole thing.
