No, it is not what we are used to BUT it is a safe haven for books and they are actively listening and working on our collective wishlist. They do not censor but actively encourage reviewing. I find the atmosphere wholly brighter than grramazon although some of what is happening over there is impacting over here and I think I WANT TO GET AWAY FROM THAT BAD AIR
I think the main turn off was being allocated people to follow. I know that is why Wanda joined and then left within the span of a couple of day
I been thinking of just setting up my own blog to keep track of what I read, with some short reviews made for myself by myself with no special snowflakes authors interfering :-p I just suck at webdesign so some no-fancy basic wordpress will do. And I will keep an eye on this place too and see if I can learn to use it some day.
HAH My men are busy setting one up for me, bless their cotton whatevs! I am moving every single to here out of harms way and then will import them individually to my blogat my leisure. So for now it is hectic yet I can see the rainbow of contentment in my future. Never again will I trust a book site umbrella 100%

They are using wordpress - bog standard no frills. I haven't yet looked at what they have done as I'm in the nuts and bolts stage of air lifting from the Dunkirke that is grrrrramazon. Must get my babies out from there! :O)

I imported from GR via .csv but there was a disparity in numbers. Booklikes said that there were only two they couldn't find a home for. So am cropss-checking etc etc Also, the.csv file did not give me the piccies, dates, gifs etc that help me to remember a book.

Yeah - that cover *sigh* Sent out copies but still havent got around to it myself. When I joined NetGalley I was sort of demented - pressed 'request' on everything like a child in a toyshop then the reality hit...some of them have a very short window and expect a return in just a few days and if you miss that there is a Big Black Mark against your name. *shrugs*
