I love this play -- if you haven't seen it performed yet, you've got something to look forward to (above and beyond the actual text)!
Is there a version that you particularly recommend? (I'm assuming it's on video or streaming somewhere.)
There are two movies -- one from the 1950s starring Michael Denison, Edith Evans, Michael Redgrave and Margaret Rutherford, and the other one from the early 2000s, starring Rupert Everett, Colin Firth, Frances O'Connor, Reese Witherspoon, and Judi Dench. Both are great, but personally I am partial to a BBC TV production from the 1980s starring Rupert Frazer, Gemma Jones, Alec McGowan, Paul McGann, Joan Plowright, and Amanda Redman -- it's available as part of a 4-DVD set also including the BBC's versions of "The Picture of Dorian Gray", "An Ideal Husband", and "Lady Windermere's Fan" (with a young Jeremy Brett co-starring in "Dorian Gray" and "An Ideal Husband").

This really is a play best experienced on the stage, though, IMHO -- the interaction between audience and actors adds a dimension that no screen adaptation, however funny, star-studded and well-done just cannot offer.
