Murder by Death 2 years ago
The last funeral I was at was my father's. And yes, the cemetery workers told me I had to leave immediately after the 'service' ended - they actually kicked me out, and let me tell you, I was NOT grieving gracefully. I've always thought that was appalling.
Her second book, From Here to Eternity, delves into this concept even more deeply. I recommend esp considering our twisted death outlook here. It really opened up my eyes and made me look at the deaths in my life in a different light. No one wants to talk about it.

Not go sound mercenary, but the $255 you get from social security is a ridiculously tiny amount with even just a cremation with no funeral services or frills costs thousands.
Yep, it's extremely expensive and a lot of it is unnecessary esp when you realize that these are decisions your family will be pushed into making while they're grieving. It's a business.

Great review, thanks. I'm going to check this novel out.
Hope you get as much out of it as I did. Thanks!
