In like intensity, but wasn't one of his scariest. I will look.

Doesn't have to be scary-- just looking for a good read. :)

Dude, the way this pic posted, it looks like some of those books are floating. Rad.

I say PHANTOMS. Love that book.

Haha, whoa! Totally didn't notice that before you pointed it out.

I've already read PHANTOMS... :(

Shit. I read that wrong. My bad. TWILIGHT EYES is one of my favorites from him. Perhaps that one?

I think I'm gonna go with MIDNIGHT... I think. Read the first chapter and it really spoke to me, so we'll see!

Definitely going to read TWILIGHT EYES soon, though-- I've heard nothing but good things about it.
I thought they were floating too. I examined in for like five minutes trying to figure out how the paprbacks were suspended in the air.

NIGHT CHILLS!

Definite possibility.... Seems like a quick, fun read-- and it's old-school Koontz, which means it's more likely to be good.

I remember liking Dark Rivers of the Heart, too. But Night Chills is a quickie, and you'll probably find it has that goofy 70s SF chiller charm.

Ah, yes, subliminal messaging goodness.

P.S. I want your copy of DARKFALL. I've always loved that basic purple cover.

I found that book (along with several of my other Koontz and King hardcovers) at 2nd and Charles in Hoover. Amazing store if you've never been.

I haven't. But I just took note of the name. I'll look them up next time I'm up that way. Thanks.
I read a book a while ago, I think it was Koontz (I was like 15 or something), there were rhesus monkey or something. And they were mean.

Not a prob, E! They're right across the highway from the Riverchase Galleria-- should be easy to find. :-)
I remembered, it was the series with Christopher Snow, they were good. Midnight bay or somethung.

I think that one was SEIZE THE NIGHT. FEAR NOTHING is the first one, and I'm pretty sure the monkeys were in part two.
Yep, youre right.
Thank you. I often think back to that book. It was the first time I read an entire book in one sitting.

Lovely shelves. :)
Intensity was a "one sitting" read for me. Intensity and Watchers are still my two fave Koontz books.

Watchers!
Phantoms was the bomb! I also enjoyed Odd Thomas :) Happy reading regardless of what you pick.
