I'm so glad to read this review. I always worry that I'll be disappointed when an author revisits a favorite book. I have this on Audible and am trying to figure what square I could use it for. Or I might use it for my Poe square.
I was watching an interview with her on PBS Newshour, and it sounds like she was motivated by current politics and not the success of the HULU show - which she has more input in than I thought. It's cool because it can (and does) function as a sequel to the book and/or the tv series. I really love the fact that she kept the afterword ending - the academic conference - in this as well.
