Survival is all Slade understands until Parker saves him from the terrors of the streets. Too bad the streets don’t want to let Slade go…
Hustler Slade has had little choice over his fate. Barely twenty years old, he’s had to survive any way he can after being thrown out for being gay when he was still in his teens. As soon as he hit Vegas, Slade was lured into the hopeless world of prostitution where he’s become a virtual prisoner to his pimp, the ruthless Julio Estevez.
It’s another typical night on the Strip when officer Parker comes across Slade. His heart breaks every time he sees someone so young being exploited. Yet something in Slade’s eyes tells Parker the young man might be in real trouble—especially after the recent wave of sex worker killings by a rival prostitution ring.
The two men’s lives become intertwined when Slade is almost beaten to death. The danger grows, but so does the relationship between Parker and Slade. Parker helps Slade to heal from the horrific attack and their bond deepens. But the human traffickers are still on the prowl—and they’ll stop at nothing to steal Slade back.

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book. This is book 2 in the Sin City Uniforms series, and while it is not really necessary to read book 1, All Fired Up, for you to follow this one, I think you should read it. If only because I said so!
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. There was something about the book that just threw me off. I'm not sure if it was the rushed romantic/sexual relationship develop or the insta-love feel to it (which hasn't ever bothered me in other books before). Parker and Slade ...
BR, January 30th with Sweet SusanI was excited for this one… As hot as the first installement but throwing in some depth, should make this a great story!! You should think….The build-up was good. I hurt for Slade. Being thrown out of his home at a young age, Slade became victim of the sex-industry.“...
BR with my girl Elsbeth3.5 starsThis started out really really strong. It had a nice slow build up. We get to know Slade and the situation he is in, with him being a sex worker. I adored Slade. My heart broke for him. There was no use in crying. He’d figured that out three years before when his staunc...
