Daniel Corey has written for many different mediums, including stage, screen, and print. His most notable work to date has been the comic/graphic novel titles MORIARTY and RED CITY, both published by Image Comics.Daniel's writing career started in the live theater, where he spent four years as writer in residence with Ken Eulo's New York Acting Ensemble. In 2007, Daniel made the move to new media when he created DANGERKATT CREATIVE STUDIO, a company that serves as an umbrella for all of his creative endeavors. In 2009, DANGERKATT published PROPHET, a graphic novel written by Daniel, with art by Anthony Diecidue. Since then, Daniel and Anthony have worked together on two additional comic series: MORIARTY and RED CITY.MORIARTY was picked up by Image Comics (THE WALKING DEAD, SPAWN) in the latter half of 2010, and the first issue of MORIARTY was released by Image on May 11th, 2011. The first volume collected graphic novel was released September 14th, 2011 under the full title MORIARTY: THE DARK CHAMBER, and volume two debuted March 14th, 2012 under the title MORIARTY: THE LAZARUS TREE. Daniel's second series for Image Comics, RED CITY, debuted to high acclaim in June 2014.
