I'm Dave Bennett, a graduate of Baylor University with a PhD in clinical psychology, and I've had a career in both teaching psychology courses as well as doing clinical work. My career began by both teaching at Central State University in Edmond, Okla. and also directing a child guidance center in a suburb of Oklahoma City, Midwest City. Working with children quickly revealed the need to work with their parents which, in turn, directed my attention to the extreme needs for marriage and family counseling. My Christian faith certainly found a rich opportunity to express itself in the deteriorating condition of American family life. My book, The Healing Touch, is an attempt to reach more people with the principles of God that are designed for both marriage and all relationships. It is my desire to teach couples how to have a paradisical marriage which can then influence the entire family.
