At first I was a little annoyed by Ben, but his weird, quirky, obsessed personality grew on me. I found myself laughing often from the middle to the end of the story. I definitely didn't see the Mistress twist coming. I always like a good book that catches me off guard. #ReadingKeepsMeSane

This is an excellent case of who's the bad guy. When you have a firm answer in your mind, it never fails to have something happen to make you second guess yourself. I loved the story, but I had trouble connecting with the characters.

Stereotypes galore! Four women, all gorgeous and rich. All are unhappily married to dull or horrible men, but they’re all bright and smart and the best of friends. Three friends are white, one is black. Guess which one is a victim of domestic violence? Since he doesn’t do it regularly, these best fr...

I really liked this one. A lot of twists in the end, and I didn't find it cliche. It seemed like a fast read because of James Patterson's writing. Very short chapters which I find unique and appealing.

This was okay. There were moments that made me giggle, I love useless trivia, but overall it felt a little odd to me. The story jumped around too much and built fake suspense. I'm not sorry that I read it but I won't be doing a re-read.

So, this is one of the few instances lately that I actually found myself not being able to stop reading or to put a book down. I found myself reading chapter after chapter. (And the chapters are short but there are a lot of them there). It was just that engrossing for me. I found the main character,...

It’s been a while since I have read a James Patterson book and even when I finished reading this novel, I had a hard time believing I had just finished a James Patterson book as the storyline was so quirky for him. It was almost humorous, offbeat and I found myself chuckling to myself as the main c...

This book starts out rather brilliantly. The narrator is stalking (and having an affair - we think) with Rachel, the wife of a well-known surgeon. One night, during dinner, as he watches from the woods behind her house for her evening flash, he sees the surgeon begin to beat Rachel. He charges in an...

The first 2/3 of the book seemed slow, the last 1/3 picks up the pace, however I don't think the "end" completes the circle of the story well enough.

I used to make it a point to finish every book I read. No matter how godawful. This book made me change all that. It was such a crappy book! My God, the guy has ADD and is rattling off president's foibles and quirks. I wanted to check out a Patterson book, everyone raves about him. No thanks, no tha...
