Death on the Nile is one of the best in the Poirot series I read so far. The alibi in this case is ever so ingenious, and the side plots are intriguing as well.I am proud to say however that I feel that I'm getting better at figuring out who the assassin(s) are, but Christie still manages to get me ...

David Suchet is the narrator of this audiobook and I love him but do Americans really sound so nasally? I'm afraid to know the answer to that. I remembered who did it so nothing was a surprise. Just enjoyed a nice re-read by audiobook.

Probably because it is one of the Christie novels made into a film (with an amazing cast including Bette Davis, Angela Lansbury, Maggie Smith) this is one of her most popular. I don't think it's one of her very best though. I'd name And Then There Were None, Murder on the Orient Express and The Murd...

Always wanted to try Agatha Christie, and found her impossibly dull compared to others in the same field.

I thought this was a very exciting Christie novel. This is one of Agatha Christie's favorite books because of the psychological insights Poirot employed in solving the murder of a young, beautiful, wealthy bride. Before Poirot could clearly see who committed the murder, he had to sort out the othe...

There's not much to say. It was another great book by Agatha Christie, whose writing I absolutely love, just like I said many times before, in other reviews. However, I didn't love "Death On The Nile", which is the reason why I didn't give it 5 stars - it wasn't the most engaging of her books.
My sodding goodreads replacement (maybe)
I'm more of a Marple fan, but Hercule Poirot can still be entertaining, even if he is a bit of a ponce. This is the first Agatha Christie story I ever read. I didn't see the ending coming (could anyone?) and I found it to be surprisingly bittersweet. Not to the extent that I wished the murder to go ...
