Deb Lund is the author of MONSTERS ON MACHINES, DINOSAILORS, ALL ABOARD THE DINOTRAIN, DINOSOARING, and other books for children. She can ride a unicycle and juggle (though not at the same time), and she's a popular presenter at schools, bookstores, libraries, and conferences. An upper middle-grade novel, an adult novel, and a book on teaching writing are among her current projects. Deb is a creativity coach, writing teacher, and continuing education instructor for writing teachers at www.hol.edu. I imagine there are probably a lot of little kids out there who would love this book. The pictures are bright and vivid, the dinosaurs are engagingly drawn (a brontosaurus in conductor garb!), and come on, it's dinosaurs *and* trains! What's not to love?!But, we didn't love it, and I sort of feel ...
