An uneven collection. Some poems were funny and clever. Others were just eh. Reminiscent of Shel Silverstein and Edward Lear, but rarely as good as either.

An action packed multilayered storyline but I found the personal relationships in this particular installment too often ventured into angsty and mellow dramatic territory for my taste to be truly interesting. I still look forward to reading the next installment though.
The different "voices" mesh very nicely with the action, a very multilayered and colourful world has been created and I am very much looking forward to reading more in the series.
