A page-turner interesting enough to pass a few lunch-hours. Nice use of toxic seepage from underground fire as symbolic landscape for main character, though it wasn't developed much. The ending was grossly unrealistic, but hey - it's genre fiction.
For some reason I had a hard time getting into this book...another one that goes in to the "read at a later date" pile...
