I think I would have liked this better had Gillian's Unfortunate Habit not been so extreme. Too some extent it's funny, ha ha, but quickly gets old that she is so clumsy, idiotic, etc. That being said, Gillian is a very likeable character.

This book is a little over the top but is funny. No one can be as accident prone and naive as our heroine, Gillian and still live or want some one to strangle her. Very funny with several moments that had me laughing out loud. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this even though I quickly identified the villain.

This is a re-read from my keeper shelf. It holds up well with each reading- I never skim, and I just the the H/h and the various interactions with secondary characters. And I stilled snickered at all my favorite bits!

OK if you want a story that will have you rolling on the floor with hysterical belly laughs then you need to read this book.....it was like watching a comedy of errors and yet you had to like the characters because they were actually human

I laughed and laughed and laughed through this one. Some may not appreciate MacAlister's brand of humour and her tendency to write fluffy light reads but I enjoyed this immensely. There's a great cast of characters and despite this being a historical romance, Noble's son, 10 year old Nick stole the ...
