Elisabeth Donati, (born 1958) was born on a farm in Michigan, moved to another farm in Bend, Oregon when she was 11 where she learned how to do just about everything in order to take care of herself...except what to do with money! It wasn't until her late 30's that Elisabeth realized she'd missed a huge piece of critical education, both in school and at home. At this point, she set out on a journey to teach herself about money and investing. Little did she know it would lead her to creating financial education programs and products that would, literally, change the way people learn about money.Elisabeth has been empowering others to be responsible for themselves and the world for over 25 years..first in the fitness and nutrition professional and the, beginning in 2000, she began developing a powerful financial intelligence program for kids, teens and adults. These unique programs are changing lives all over the US and now Internationally.Freedom takes money and money is one of the many life skills that is rarely taught in schools or in many homes because parents don't know how to 'do money' either. Empowering kids with a new way of thinking about money will help create a new world where adults create their own living instead of thinking that they have to grow up, go to college, get good grades and then get a job forever. It's just not how it works anymore. Elisabeth received the 2010 Financial Educator of the Year Award for her Camp Millionaire programs and The Money Game.
