Ok, so I have read the book before and gave the book 5 stars. This rating is for the audio book. My big issue was that the girl narrator tried to do all these different male voices, and it did not work for me. It just didn't work. I found myself cringing. Its not that I mind the narrator doing the v...

Different. I am not sure exactly what I expected, but this book was different-in a good way. I was surprised, irritated, and totally engaged the whole time. Finished it in an afternoon and then jumped right in to the second book!

I thought the premise of this book was so cool. It is not like what I expected at all. It's like Hogwarts for upper society mafia. I could tell immediately that I was going to love the characters.I felt manipulated when they were mean and I felt manipulated when they were nice. It was like I alw...

Elite by Rachel Van Dyken took a while to process. A lot goes on in this story. It can get extremely confusing. Plus it turns out life as Tracey knew it was going to be turned upside down. Tracey, a small town girl, finds herself in college at Eagle Elite, one of the most prestigious schools, on a...

I spent most of the book confused and not sure what the heck was going on. In the end, I'm still not 100% sure what happened. The "college" felt more like an exclusive hi...

This book was great but not at all what I expected. As a reader you are completely in the dark for the first third of the book, you may start to get a picture of what is going on but it is still very unclear and captivating at the same time. This book is fast paced, the boys are dangerous, protectiv...

This was really, really good! I can't wait to read the next one in the series!Great start to a series, so many questions in the beginning, but towards the middle you start to figure things out slowly. Bottom line: Want to read the next one NOW!

How do I write a reaction to Rachel Van Dyken's "Elite"? I guess on one hand, you could say this was trying to be a humorous, thrilling romantic read in the scheme of New Adult, but it rubbed me the wrong way for the utter implausibilities in the storyline. I had a hard time getting through much of...
