Ellen Crosby is the author of the Virginia wine country mysteries and two mysteries featuring international photojournalist Sophie Medina. In 2016, Minotaur Books will publish THE CHAMPAGNE CONSPIRACY, the 7th wine country mystery, and Scribner will publish GHOST IMAGE, a Sophie Medina mystery, in trade paperback. MOSCOW NIGHTS, a standalone mystery published in 2000 in the UK and based loosely on her time as Moscow correspondent for ABC Radio News in the late 1980s, will be published in the US by Speaking Volumes. Before writing fiction, Crosby worked as a freelance reporter for The Washington Post and as an economist at the US Senate. Wow, this was my first book by Ellen Crosby and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've got to catch my breath before I can even write this review, that's how good it was. I was hesitant to start this one, as I thought I wouldn't be able to get into it based on the blurb. But it was a very good story, with a great plot. Very well written and a nice quick read. Very enjoyable.
