This is one of the better books in the series. Zara is finally becoming a much stronger character and it does wonders for her. I am very interested in seeing how things progress with Astley and Nick.
2.5 - 2.75I love Astley and like the secondary characters enough to continue reading Book #4, but was really put off by Zara's selfishness throughout Entice. This one ended up being a "meh" for me - kind of difficult making it all the way to the end.
I can't stand this series. I want to punch myself in the face for continuing on and checking these out from the library. That's one thing though; I haven't spent a single dime on these books. Yes, I've spent a few hours reading them, but the investment has been small. I'd advise the same for any oth...
Carrie Jones' Need series has continuously gotten better with each book. In this book our heroine has to deal with the fact that things might not be as black and white as she once thought when it comes to Pixies. Our heroine faces some tough choices and continually grows because of them and all of h...
I always have fun reading about Zara and the gang. Need isn't the most amazing series out there, but there is something sweet and exciting about them that lets you get past all of that. I can't wait to find out what happens next.
Why must authors torture me so? Because they like to do it. They like to see us readers squirm in our seat as we anxiously read their wonderful work of literature. This series is one that I have been following since the very beginning. I was hooked from book one, and have not been able to put this s...
First things first. Team Astley all the way! He is just so hot. I'm not sure being a pixie would be that great, but if it meant I'd have a chance with him, I would be soooo happy. I would never stop smiling!! Astley is loveā¦The twists and turns were magnificently very Carrie Jones and kept me on my ...
OK where to begin here...as a writer Carrie Jones sometimes drives me crazy with her weird or cutesy phrases like: "They are a rag tag group of strange." or "I try to solid up my argument." There was another line about a face being a ball of something again too. I think it was a ball of concern this...
Nick Colt has died, and been taken away to Valhalla. Or taken to Valhalla where he'll be killed, I'm not quite sure. Zara White wants nothing more than to have Nick safe and sound back in Maine, but how can she retrieve him if she can't even find Valhalla?Zara White is still my favourite protag, in ...
