I really enjoyed this one, well except for the whole Hawaii thing that was pretty much built up as a major event but it was a major letdown. My favorite part of this one was the action and the fact that Stephanie was pretty much badass when she beat up someone. I look forward to reading the next one...

I would give it 2.5 if I could. Still no Ranger Morelli conclusion. I'm ready for the series to end.

Hi. My name is Carol and I'm a bookoholic.I've been reading ever since I can remember, but Goodreads seems to be contributing to my disease. I can't control myself. I'm always adding books to my "to-read" list, which is so long that if I stopped adding books today, I'd still have three years of book...

I'm finally all caught up on this series. It took me a couple of months but I got there. You know that feeling when you get takeaway food and it's fun while you're eating it but afterwards you feel a little ashamed and hollow? That's what this series is like, especially as it progresses. While the aut...

Since about Book 5 of this series, I've thought I should give it up--it's pretty silly, after all. I didn't even go see the movie made of "One for the Money." However, I always go back, and I always find myself chuckling out loud at the preposterous situations Stephanie gets herself into and the wac...

★★★½✩ (This is a review of the audiobook.) Lorelei King does her usual wonderful job giving us Stephanie Plum’s first person POV. I have to be careful or I’m going to associate her voice as only Stephanie’s and she won’t work for me when narrating any other book. Of course, she does a superb Lul...

Explosive Eighteen starts off with a bang – not the exploding kind. Yet, anyway. Our gal Steph comes back from Hawaii, alone, with a tan line on her ring finger. So what happened there, hmmm? And why are there suddenly fake FBI agents on her doorstep, followed by the real variety, then by scary char...

I do not even know how to write this review, cos I got nothing nice to say. Still would I read book 19? Hell yeah! They might annoy me to death, but they are like crack cocaine.Already back at book 12 I started sighing, but I read on. But shit hit the fan in this one. I was annoyed and then some mor...

This book took me back to why I love this series. No, the Morelli vs. Ranger situation didn't get resolved (a bit of a let down but it was finally nice to see that Morelli can fight for what he wants), but this one took us back to those days in the middle of the series where Stephanie was truly kne...
