Meh... I don't know what I was expecting. It wasn't worse nor better than the first book in the series that I received from NetGalley and read a little over a year ago. The things I do for the sake of knowing the end of a story...But hey - don't listen to what I'm saying! The book was good, really.....

Ye Gods, this book was intense. I’m very surprised that I'm loving this series as much as I am, given the nature of the relationships and power plays of profession and sexual intensity. Normally, I’d be raging at the sheer audacity of the heroes and heroine in the combined sexual power struggles, un...

This one picks up where #1 left off and Dave is being a total dick. I find it very hard to believe he felt anything for Kasie at this point. I get it -- he's humiliated by what she's done. He's humiliated that anyone else knows about it. And he's pissed. I get it. But if he really expects to still m...

What to do? Throw my hands up and scream. What to say?I'm a little disappointed with you Kasie. She didn't grow as much as I wanted her too. She was a bit whiny and very dependent on the people around her. I can't for the life of me picture top of her field woman being bullied around. Co-workers and...

From the ending of The Stranger, Kasie found out that Dave, her tax attorney boyfriend of six years knew about her affair with Robert Dade. He demanded her to end the affair and willing to give her a second chance. Sounds too good to be true. It seems that Dave is not as meek as we were lead to beli...

That ending was.....unexpected. I don't know if I missed the signs or what, but I did not see that coming. Krya Davis is making this a habit, and I like it. I am left here wondering where the hell does this story go from here?! Did poor Kasie just trade one cage for another? There was a lot m...

Exposed is the second book in the Just one Night series. The first book left me with mixed feelings, I really enjoyed The Stranger but it was very dramatic and left the story on a bigger than big cliff hanger. So I was looking forward to reading Exposed...with some trepidation. It started exactly whe...

This is going to be a short and sweet review. This is getting four stars for it's crazy ass paranoid heroine and her crazy ass obsessional hero. Robert is the billionaire who has left her wanting in the bedroom. Dave, her fiance takes things up a notch in this one and it is a serious train wreck in ...

Whoa! Talk about improvement from the first installment. In the first book, The Stranger, Kasie is an emotional slave to her fiancé and a sexual slave (although completely willingly!!) to Rober Dade, her "one night" affair from Vegas. She was exposed by her fiancé, Dave, and taken through the walk o...
