After reading Wake earlier I was subsequently hooked and was stoked to find Fade at my local library. Not as good as the first, but still a compelling and thrilling read. A good follow-up. Read More.

Once again, Lisa McMann has written a wonderful book. I'm anxiously awaiting February for book 3.

I don't feel like this book is appropriate for teens, especially not young ones! I read this because I had already bought it along with the first one. I'll never make the mistake of buying a sequel to a book I haven't read again.

The second book in the series starts off shortly after where Wake left off. This novel is much darker than the first, and deals with heavier issues such as drinking, drugs, etc. - so it may not be appropriate for all readers. For those readers who do venture into this novel, you will be captivated b...

Janie is ready to really be with Cabel. She wants to be able to tell her only friend and she just wants to come out of hiding. Of course, that's not possible. Their cover would be completely blown and the last case isn't quite closed yet. Also, it looks like they might be needed for a new case a...

Fade isn't what you would normally call a fun, funny, good-time book. But hey, half of the books in this nation aren't like that so why should this one be any different? Much like its debut novel--Wake--Fade has it secrets and mysteries, only this time its future--or should I say her future--is a wh...

I've only had a few reeeeeally bad crushes on fictional characters from books in my life. Edward Rochester, Dr. Carlisle Cullen, Po from Graceling, Bran from Son of the Shadows, Constantine from Sunshine...okay, I'll stop. But I haven't had a really bad crush in a while. And they usually only last f...

I read rave reviews of this book, and it really kind of disappointed me. I wasn't the biggest fan of Wake, but I read a review that said this book was better. I think it was pretty much the same quality, with the addition fo an obnoxious language pattern.

I really would like to be able to enjoy these books, as I really like the premise, the whole idea of the Dream Catchers and what they do and how it affects them, but there is so much swearing (F*** is practically on every page)and a lot of sensuality, waaaaaaaay more than even what is usually presen...
