This is a lovely end to the Call the Midwife trilogy. I read it much more quickly that I read Shadows of the Workhouse. Farewell to the East End is more similar in tone and structure to Call the Midwife (book 1) which I enjoyed. I started reading the books because I had finished watching the show....
I enjoyed this one the most of the series, mostly because it goes even further into social issues such as abortion
In this last installment in Worth's midwife trilogy, she reverts to the short story style of the first book.
