2nd read: Oct 2012 - now rated 4-starsMy first read of this book wasn't terribly favorable. I was miffed at the authors for putting us back in the middle of another 3-book (trilogy) story arc. So much happens in a single Special Agent Pendergast book, much less carrying the story across 3 books! And...
I don't have a lot of patience and I get bored easily so it is a tribute to the writing of the authors that I am still reading this series when others that feature a recurring character have fallen by the wayside.Special Agent Pendergast is a low-key guy but within lies a certain charm that endures....
