I listened to the audio book and it was fantastic. The beginning was very humorous and light but as the story went on it began to grew darker and darker. These ghosts in her apartment were so creepy and the scenes at the end - I was actually scared. Great book.

Number five in the series. Charley’s signature humor and snark is there, along with the requisite serial killer. In this edition there is arson, more pain and tribulations. The question is why is everything that happens around our main characters basically the same as in the previous books. Still th...

Re-Read:January 16 - January 20I’m so glad I decided to re-explore this series. There is so much I had forgotten. So much I’m excited about again. I really hope the series never ends. I need Ms Jones to write about Charly and Reyes until they are old and gray.

Charley's life as a PI, Grim Reaper and who knows what else becomes a little more complicated when sexy-bad-boy-love interest Reyes moves in next door making it that much harder to avoid him. And she’d like to do so since he may be the main suspect in an arson case that her uncle is pushing her to s...

Absolutely my favorite of the series so far. My emotions went from laughing out loud to gasping in horror. I read this book in half a day and am starting the next book RIGHT NOW.

This series is just too easy to read. with it's funny lines and quirky likable characters. AND let's not forget everyone's favorite hottie - Reyes! Too many lines to quote, I chuckled a lot while reading it. p.s. There was a spot in the beginning that had a utensil play a small role .. I'm not s...
