2.5 starsI had high hopes for this one having both shifters and cowboys in it, unfortunately the story just fell flat for me. For me I just couldn't connect with the main characters.
3.5 stars This reminded me a lot of The Tin Star, just with the addition of shifters to the plot. I enjoyed this, and I thought the way Jonah and Cole were reintroduced to each other was very interesting after being missing for a year, Cole finds Jonah at an abused horse rescue. It was difficult ...
Meh.I read the Barnes and Noble sample but it didn't grab me. Too much, telling not enough showing.
